    Officially titled Edward 'Winnie-the-Pooh' Bear, affectionately sometimes simply called Pooh, is the name of a fictional bear which was created by A. A. Milne.

    While to most children, the Pooh series hold purely entertainment value, there are many lessons, values and morals intertwined with the stories. They teach kids values such as the importance of sharing. The marquee phrase used by Pooh is "Oh, bother." He is a mild mannered, gentle bear. He is remembered most for his love for honey.

    'Winnie-the-Pooh makes appearances in a number of books, poems, television shows, features, video games and other cartoons. The Pooh stories are so popular that they have been interpreted into various languages. He even has his very own star which sits on the renowned Hollywood Walk of Fame.
