If F(x)=2x-3/divided Then F^-1(x)=?

Ill help you..

f(x)=2x-3

y=2x-3

x=2y-3

x+3=2y

divide both sides by 2 to cancel out the 2 in the coefficient y

y= (x+3) / 2

f^-1(x)= (x+3)/2

This is just off the top of my head but I'm thinking 3/2

I'm not sure though now that I look at the F^ buttttt my calculus teacher told me that sometimes they just put in signs like %5
