How Are High Chairs Used?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

A high chair would refer to a piece of furniture basically used in order to feed older babies in addition to younger toddlers. The seat is designed such that it is raised a good distance above ground so an adult can thus spoon-feed the kid quite comfortably while standing.  You find such chairs frequently have this wide base so as to augment stability.

Typically you find a tray fixed to the two arms of this chair. This makes allowance for adults to put out the food on it so that the child can pick up the food and eat or possibly for the food to then be spoon-fed to the kid. Another common feature of high chairs are seat belts so as to strap the youngster in.
