To the best of my knowledge there are no F-5s currently in service in the US Air Force. There may be one or two in service with NASA, but that would be the only agency. At this time there are about 1,300 F-5s serving with the militaries of foreign governments. Northrop Grumman St. Augustine has a overhaul facility for the aircraft, and has the capability to convert single seater F-5s into two seater T-38s.
