The David Livingstone Centre is on the banks of the River Clyde in Blantyre, but can also be accessed by walking over the David Livingstone Bridge from Bothwell. It has the home of famous African explorer David Livingstone (which you can tour) a wildlife exhibition, shop, cafe and extensive grounds and children's play area.

New Lanark is a World Heritage Site in the Clyde Valley. A beautiful place to visit surrounded by trees and the river Clyde.
