Not a question of converting so much as transferring. On your digital video camera, to allow you to view what you have recorded on TV you should have at least 2 RCA outputs and a double lead - white being audio/sound usually and yellow being video/picture.  Plug these into your DVD recorder press play on camera, record on DVD.

There should be a tv adapter that will allow you to do that with ease.  If not then consider buying a simple adapter like one from krusell or other various brands.
