I Never Have The Time To Look After My New Puppy, Which Was A Gift From A Friend. What Should I Do?

           If you think that you will continue to be too busy to look after your puppy then the best thing to do would be to find it a new home. Puppies need a lot of care and attention and they do need to be trained.

           If you do not have the time to train and care for your puppy then it is better off going to a new home. Perhaps, if you feel okay with doing so, you could politely return the puppy to your friend and explain that you are far too busy to give it the proper attention that it needs.

           It is understandable that you are not sure what to do in this situation, because after all the puppy was given to you as a gift and selling it on to someone else may offend your friend. But, if you return it to your friend and explain that whilst you appreciate the gift you feel it would be better if your friend gave it to someone who had more time, then they will understand.
