If You Do Not Receive A Wedding Gift From Guest At Wedding, Do You Still Thank The Guest For Coming?

Yes since we all go through hard times and can't afford gifts right off hand.

Well of course you do..Its not all about the gifts even though they are nice..maybe the couldn't afford to buy one..but wanted to come to wish you luck and success..and are good friends.....

Yes i would still thank them for coming gifts are always great but what matters more are the people who come to share your day with you those are the ones who care and love you... Yes gifts are great but with the way things are going people are broke so for them being there is like your gift you know...

You should be thankful that one has showed up and i agree with others that there are terrible hardships going on. Be respectful to others. Put the shoe on the other foot that could be you one day being at someone else's wedding.

I go to weddings and sometimes I can't afford buying gifts for them but I always make sure to tell them why and will give a gift when I  get money. Now I don't know your cousins financial situation or your friends. But if they had the money ya it would be nice to give a gift. But relationships with friends and cousins isn't about gifts its about sharing memories. I would thank them for coming to my wedding because some ppl didn't come to mine and I've known them my whole life....life is fun and joyous, don't ruin a relationship over a silly gift.
