    To some extent yes, but without science, we would not have this form of communication.

      Yes.

      Science is observation and exploration. In itself, science does not seek to solve problems. It seeks to understand the way the world works, answer questions. However, the result of observation and exploration always raises new questions. So, doing science always raises more questions than the number of problems it solves.

      Technologists make use of scientific results to try to solve problems. They don't have a very good record of doing so without creating new ones.
