Should I Feel Leary Of Purchasing A Puppy From West Africa, Very Inexpensively? {picture Of Puppy Inside}
He claims her reason for "selling" her 10 week old puppy is because the climate is not good in Cameroon, west Africa. Can i western union her the $250.00. Female yorkies go for approx. $1,200.00 in Florida. As i have a personal interest in helping this puppy & woman i feel that i cannot be objective in my reasoning.

I would not advise it. The distance is so great you cannot verify the puppy or the person who says it is for sale.

Is there any way that you can find out if she has a criminal record that might tell you if this is a scam? I don't want to sound sinical, but that is a lot of money to just hand over to someone 1/2 way around the world dear. What if she never delivers? I would hate to think that she might do this. I can't get on the site that you linked up there at the top of the question. Mind you, like the international lottery, it isn't real. If they ask you for money, it isn't a real lottery. I know what you are thinking now, "well, if I don't pay for the pup", maybe, since she is wanting to help the pup, she should help you, ship the dog, and when you recieve a reciept from an official mail entity, then you can wire the money. If you have access to a fax, that might be a good idea too. I just don't want you to be taken dear. I ♥♥♥ you.

With the little information I have here, it seems to me your sympathies are being played upon. If, as you say above to tmom you're ok with sending the money and you're going into it with eyes open, then I guess go ahead with it. For my part, I would be very skeptical and probably just say that I am unable to help this person. Very best wishes, how ever this turns out.
I just got the yorkie I have wanted for years on Mother's Day. I love him so so much. But, I waited and found him on the online newspaper, and I looked on craigslist, and backpages.com.

Scam scam scam scam scam scam- don't shop-adopt. Call you local rescue group and help out a dog that really needs it.

Other then the distance and the possibility of a scam ask her for her personal info and call her a few times. Sounds like $250 is not a great deal of burden for you which if lost not a huge big deal. You should be able to contact the law enforcement in her area and ask them to verify the address without them giving any personal info out. Call the vet she stated and verify what you can. Good luck
