    Sir Paul McCartney is a popular award winning songwriter and a member of the 1960's rock group "The Beatles". His fortune just about stands worth £825 million according to the Sunday Times rich list. He is the richest musician in the UK.
    Over all Sir Paul is the 36th richest man in Britain's list of 1000 richest people. During the Beatle days he was one half of the extremely successful songwriting team Lennon-McCartney, the other half being John Lennon, another band member. Singles like "Cant Buy Me Love", "Yesterday", "Hello Goodbye", "Hey Jude", "Let It Be" and "The Long and Winding Road" have usually been credited to McCartney Alone. After the split of The Beatles on 10 April 1970 Sir Paul started a flourishing solo career and released his first album on 17 April 1970.
