My lawn has several brown spots after fertilzing it two days ago..will watering it bring back the color?

Are the brown spots form accidentally spilling to much fertilizer on the grass?? If so, go to the brown spots and tear up the area. Put everything you tear up in a garbage bag and replace the holes with good soil. Add some seed, scratch it in and add some more., sprinkle some starter seed fertilizer on the spot (but not to much) and cover the spot with cheese cloth., and toothpick pin it down. The seeds will sprout and the cloth will keep it shaded. The grass will grow right through the cloth. When its thick and green again, lift the cloth up and there you have it!!

It sounds like you let the grass get too dry. You must keep water on fertilized grass or it will burn up. Those spots will probably not turn green. Keep the rest of your lawn watered and those spots will fill in with new grass.
