    An occupational therapist (often abbreviated as OT) would denote an individual trained in or simply engaged in the filed known as occupational therapy. Occupational therapy implies the healing of mentally as well as physically disabled persons through the teaching of a skill or even supplying them with creative activity. Thus occupational therapy is aimed at providing individuals with skills required simply for the job of living, intended for living significant and satisfying lives.

    Thus, an occupational therapist's objective would be to work with his/her client so as to assist him/her attain a fulfilled as well as satisfied position in life. This is done particularly through the use of specific purposeful activity or interventions.
