What Do Arctic Wolves Eat?

Answer Question

4 Answers - Sort by: Date | Rating

An Arctic wolf is one of the animals whose natural habitat is located in the area which is situated along the northern boundary of the continent of North America and to the north of the North Pole. They also live along the eastern coast and the northern coast of Greenland. There are several large islands in the area. These occupy the area between the northern edge of the continent of North America and the North Pole, which are covered permanently in snow and ice (though the snow melts in some parts of these islands between the middle of the month of June and the middle of the month of August).

These regions are home to many varieties of low-growing plants, which are eaten by such herbivorous animals which are native to the area as the musk ox, the Peary caribou and the Arctic hare. These animals are the major sources of supply of food for the white wolves, or Arctic wolves, which live in this area, which is known as the High Arctic.
