If A Father Forgot About His 13 Years Old Daughter's Birthday Party For The 3rd Time, Does It Mean That He Doesn't Care About Her?

Birthdays are VERY important.  IT does not mean that he doesn't care, it could mean a lot of things: 

That he is so busy that he doesn't realize day to day exactly what the significance is except for what he has to get done.  A lot of people out there get so caught up in their own life and what they have to get done all their responsibilities that they forget what's going on outside their sphere.  It's not right, and it's hurtful to those who want to share their attention and time, but life is busy and it's hard.  Just try to remind them that some things are more important, like family and celebrating another year of life.

He could have the day wrong in his head, for longest time i had a gpa who swore up and down that my birthday was in November (it's in June). He even argue with me about it!  Never failed, June would get here and he would not even notice!

Also could be that birthdays just do not hold significance for him.  Some people never celebrate birthdays, to them it's just another day.  So maybe talking to him about it and letting him know that to your Daughter it is important and she wants him there to celebrate with her will make him think about it as a special day out of the year.

Either way hon, go talk to him.  Tell him that it hurts her for him not to be there, and to have him there for one day a year is important not just that year but will be a special memory he will treasure with her for years to come.  Maybe plan together what you will do next year and allow him to be more involved in the celebration.  :)

Well in my opinion i think he loves you in his own special way and he may not be good with dates /or probably he is too busy /but the next time you  see him just tell him how important this day is for you.
