I have 3 4 week old kittens, mummy cat hasn't started to help them with eating solids or going to toilet, is they everything i can do help them to start eating soilds or will mummy know when the time is right?
The kittens are a little young to eat solids. They should be nursing or getting milk from the mommy cat. After a few more weeks, when they're about 6-8 weeks, they can start with solids. They have food in the stores made for kittens.
If your cat refuses to nurse them you may have to nurse them yourself warm milk in baby bottles with the small teats litter tray introducing it will take time but for some reason some cats abandon there litter , i think you may be able to buy some milk from pet shops although you would think full fat milk would be sufficient boiled and cooled though
