Well, major ones I would think were:
- the invasion of Iraq.
- the space shuttle "Columbia" disintegrated, killing all 7 astronauts.
- Australia won the Cricket World Cup in South Africa.
- major protests against the war in Iraq.
- SARS.
- Arsenal won the FA cup.
- AC Milan won the Champions League.
- Martha Stewart got done.
- Arnold Schwarzenegger became Govenor of California.
- Michael Jackson got done.
- England won the Rugby World Cup in Australia...
and before you know it, New Zealand are about to win the Rugby World Cup in France in less than a month!
