How To Find The Area Of An Equilateral Triangle, You Can Use The Formula: (s2 √3) / 4?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

    Suppose the length of the sides given is :
    s= 3
    So
    In the question we are given the formula:
    Area=(s2 √3) / 4
    Plugging in the values in the formula:
    Area=(32 √3) / 4
    Squaring:
    Area=(9 √3) / 4
    Taking under root:
    Area=(9*1.73) / 4
    Multiplying:
    Area=(15.57) / 4
    Dividing:
    Area=3.89
    So for an equilateral triangle with length 3 the area would be 3.89. Hope this clarifies it for you!
