Is Salvation Depending On Baptism?

Answer Question

No! Salvation is a free gift and baptism dosent determine it! It is only by grace that we are saved! We are called to be baptised as a profession of our faith,Rom.6:3,4 but not everyone has the time to do it , such as the thief on the cross! Luke.23:39-43. However if you have the opportunity to do it, it is a wonderful experience. Also many have been baptised but are not truly saved they havent received Christ as their Lord and Saviour! You must do that before baptism really means anything! Acts.2:38 Genaveve

No- salvation is from asking Jesus for forgiveness of sin, accepting Him as your Saviour, and living for Him, serving Him.  Baptism is symbol of salvation, but is not requirement for salvation.  The thief on the cross believed on Jesus and was saved, but could not come down from the cross to be baptized.
