Yes I can provide you with some negative points that can convince you that he should not go for the second term as a president. The first and foremost point is that after Dr. Rajendra Prasad no president of India has sought for another presidential term and if any body is seeking another term, it may happen that parties start blaming him that he has done favour to the party whose people are in majority when it comes to the electoral votes for presidency and that would be the biggest setback to the post of president itself.

The other reason that is also pragmatic is that he has shown the way a man should act when it comes to the conduct in public life. Now it's time for others to take the rein and follow its footsteps. Besides he has some other important work to do which include proliferation of scientific knowledge in every corner of India and being not bounded with any post, he can devote more time to such activities.
