    I think i understand what your asking. I will answer it the best i can without confusing you. The catalyst in DNA replication would be the enzymes that promote the thousands of chemical processes that go on in the living body. These enzymes(amino Acids) govern a particular aspect of your body's metabolism and determines your physical characteristics, such as eye color, skin color, blood type and so on.
