What Is The Purpose Of Amazon's Wish Lists?

Well there are two main reasons, the first is so that people can see what you would like, the second is that it helps Amazon sell products!

Someone goes through Amazon and clicks add to wish list when they see something that they want. This is added to list. Then someone else can type in your name and can see the items that are listed in your wish list.

Amazon of course makes a good deal of money this way as it makes purchasing a gift for this person must simpler because they have shown you the type of gift they would like at least.

However, make sure that you chat to others so you don't all buy them same thing. I'm not sure if Amazon deletes it once someone has bought it for you. Maybe, that would be a good idea if they don't though. Quick, patent the idea!
