No, pink eye (conjunctivitis) in dogs is not contagious to humans or other dogs. It will often spread between eyes in the individual dog. Conjunctivitis causes redness of the eye, green or yellow discharge, swollen eyelids, and discomfort. Have your dog examined by a veterinarian to make sure the cornea is not scratched and to start appropriate treatment.
