If I Was To Travel To Japan What Shots Would I Need?
I am married to an active duty service member and have to relocate to be with my husband but I need certain immunization shots, what are the shots needed?

Tetanus. Booster required if you have not had one in last ten years. 3 injections a month apart if you never had one.
Vaccinations to consider- Japanese B Encephalitis long stay in rural areas - especially after rains (April - October)
Local Diseases - Schistosomiasis.
General Information. - E.Coli Epidemic from contaminated food in Tokyo in April 2001.
Make sure you take out comprehensive travel insurance and declare all existing health problems.
