How Is A Horse Racecourse Funded?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

There is no definite rule by which a racecourse can be funded as it is not a part of the basic amenities for a city. A racecourse is something that people use for their leisure activities and most of the times it provides comfort to only those people who have enough money to bet on the horses.

Sometimes the leading citizens of an area come forward to with a proposal to establish a racecourse and they approach corporate houses to provide the fund and the authorities in the government to allot land in an easily accessible area. But these days horseracing is becoming a huge money spinner and corporate houses themselves come forward to establish the racecourse. They can earn money from the betting and other facilities like restaurants and bars that are established for the people visiting the area.
