I Changed Water Pump On My '95' Intrepid ES..The Cam That Was Loosened To Get The Timing Cover Off Somehow Moved. Can You Tell Me How To Now Reach TDC?

The engine is a 3.5L. The bottom cam moved after being loosened to get timing cover off. How do I get the engine back to TDC Is it like older cars by getting #1 up? It probably doesn't help to know that I am a woman, but I do work on all my vehicles, and I do know a few things about timing. I just might have bit off more than I can chew this time. Can you please help?

Well since you're a lady you won't know what the main problem with your car is. There can be some technical problem with it, and it might damage other parts as well. so its better you consult a mechanic.

Align the camshaft sprocket timing mark between the marks on the rear timing belt cover. The crankshaft should have marks on it and the block behind it.
