Science is all about practical and experimental things. Science is not that difficult to study but people avoid it for many reasons. It is because they feel that it is difficult to learn scientific things so they go for arts subjects. But let me tell you that if you are a science student then you may have a lot many opportunities of creative jobs. But it is important to secure a hi-fi degree for this purpose. You have to do MS, M Phil or Ph D whichever you can manage.

A science student can secure research sort of job, your research can help you out to get promotion during job time. It will also open the vistas of knowledge and will prove your self as well. You may become a doctor, engineer, etc if you study hard. You may become a doctor after doing Ph D. Science and technology is accountable for a number of discoveries but it is up to the scope of your degree in science that which one is your specific sector.

You have not mentioned it but I guess if it is computers then it is the most growing field nowadays. If it is zoology, botany, chemistry or which else it is, then you may have to spent a lot of time in these sectors to go for research work.
