Isn't War On Terror Madness?
Hundreds of thousands of people have been killed but there is no end in sight. War is not just the use of force but it's also how to win hearts.

Yes and no. The way it's been fought by bush is madness. But what do you expect from a commander in chief that missed half of his guard meetings. He wasn't fit to wear the uniform i proudly wore, in my opinion. Hopefully we fight it more intelligently now.

Just imagine if we stood by and did nothing to stop terrorism just sat by and watched it....do you think anything would be solved or that the terrorist would just stop conspiring ways to take down our society...no I really don't think so even know there are alot of lives being lost its most probably better than doing absolutely nothing about it

The only thing terrorists understand is that actions speak louder then words. Since 9/11, we haven't been attacked. President Bush has helped to keep this country safe. War is not a great thing, I know, I was in Viet Nam. War is a necessary evil. I wish that there would never be another war, but it ain't gonna happen. As long as there are people with evil and hatred within them, there will always be war.

I don't believe so. I don't think it would be better to let terrorists continue. Nor do I think it would be a good idea to immediately pull American troops out of an area that is so destabilized that it would be open for others to take over. I have friends and family members over there that I worry about every day. I served in the military. The region needs to be stabilized before troops can come home.
