How Long Will Thorazine Stay In Your System After Surgery?

First of all -- why in the world did  they give you thorazine? Are you sure it was thorazine? I ask because thorazine is an anti-psychotic. I realize it is a sedative and tranquilizer as well. I assume it was used as a sedative for the surgery only- to calm you down and relax you- it will be out of your system in a matter of a few days. Your pain medications after surgery will be in there longer than the thorazine.  Those take 4-7 days after you stop taking them to leave your system, depending on what you are taking and for how long.
