Saab 1997 900s Passenger Door Will NOT Open! What To Fix?
Hi guys, if anyone can help it would be really appreciated. Door was working fine then suddenly passenger door hinge\latch will not go up when I used the central locking to open all doors. Driver's side door opens fine, passenger door doesn't open at all. Latch goes up slightly but just gets stuck and goes down. I tried pulling hinge up with my hands, it doesn't go up. I tried using the key to open door, latch will not go up. Many thanks in advance for your help.

It sounds like something has came loose in the door and is holding pressure against the lock. You might try spraying WD-40 in the hole where the lock knob pull is and work it up and down to see it that helps. Also a slim-Jim might be a tool to put in the window slot and see if that will hook on and pull it up. Other than that a good body man will be your only choice.
