I Need Clarification Re Bile Related Diarrhea Described By Dr. Saad Habba, Can You Help?

If excess bile can cause diarrhea, and yet people who have had their gallbladders removed have diarrhea because there is not enough bile to break down oils and fats, why do some of the articles on this topic say that cholestyramine, which binds up bile, can help with both of these problems???

We can not use cholestyramine to treat diarrhea because this drug can not be used for long duration of time because it also causes many complications like permanent constipation ,bad taste and also diarrhea. For more details visit cholestyramine. Bile acid sequestrants.
