I live in Mexico;but not Mexico City,the Country's Capital,but in the most Northwestern City:Tijuana.Surely you know where it's at.Anyway,there's no Civil War in Mexico.There's a war but not a typical one,I mean,it's not a conflict due to ideals,independence or wealth distribution.It's an "underground"confrontation between rival drug cartels,fighting over the "ownership"of the territory to control everything from supply,distribution,sales,administrative chores like permits and God knows what else.But it doesn't stops there,they are also fighting against Government
armed forces:Military,ground,aerial and naval;Federal,State and Municipal Police.Here in T.J. Alone there are at least two rival gangs fighting each other,shootouts are everyday activity plus dead bodies found everyday dumped in every imaginable place and fashion:decapitated,mutilated,tortured and shot wraped in a blanket in some car's trunk,even cut in pieces and packed in metal containers.Unbelievable.
Everyday and all over the country.There is an excellent local weekly newspaper called ZETA.I think it's printed in San Diego.You should look it up if you are interested.It's not an ad,but in my opinion it is the most accurate and brave enough to publish things other papers don't.And thank you for being interested in what is going on in our sadly abused but beautiful,beautiful Mexico.Please spread the truth.God Bless You.
