I have a snake that resembles a rattle snake. It is about 12"-13" long and has no indications of rattles at all. What might it possible be?

Rattle snakes are the one having horny segments that can be vibrated to produce a rattling sound at the end of their tails.
It starts functioning in the later stage but they are developed in the start.
