I Am 46, And I Am Almost Sure I Am Pregnant, Is That Safe?

Answer Question

Hi by my mind, I hope you  go to see the Doctor as at this age it's late to have a baby so you should tell him your age and ask him for your pregnant, normally it's a risk to be pregnant at this age. Anyway there are some people they are pregnant older than you, it depends on your health so I suggest you go to see a doctor, as it's better for you.

An ob-gyne can best answer your questions and allay your fears. I think the danger of pregnancy at a late age is because of possible complications if the mother has existing sicknesses.  There is also concern about the greater risk of having a mongoloid baby. But there has been a lot of advancement in medicine that's why we hear of mothers having their first baby in their 40s and everything is fine.  I hope you go see the doctor as soon as you can. Good luck.
