What Does Eurasian Dotterel Mean?

    The Eurasian dotterel is a bird from the plover family of birds, it is a small wader. It breeds in region of the arctic tundra, in the northern part of Eurasia. They mostly are found in the regions of eastern Siberia and Norway. They mostly breed on mountain plateaus like Scottish highlands or on the Alps. They nest on bare grounds laying anything between two to four eggs. The Eurasian Dotterel comes under the Animalia kingdom, they are phylum chordate. They come under the class of Aves. They come under the species C. morinellus.

    The Eurasian Dotterel are migratory birds, they from the north of Africa to Morocco and the east wards to Iran.
