Why Is There A Controversy About Using Embryonic Stem Cells?

    The controversy was that is was felt to be immoral, especially using cells from fetus' that had been aborted.  Now, they have found a new way to get around this moral dilema, by using cells from the umbilical cord.  Once the baby is born, the cord that attaches it to the mother is filled with cells so now they are requesting woman to donate or have frozen so stem cell research can continue without people feeling that this science is promoting abortions
