Who Wrote The Book 'Terminal'?

The book terminal was written by famous doctor turned author Robin Cook. The book was written in the year 1993 and was moderately successful. The book is another medical thriller that shows you insights of the world of bio-technology. The novel is basically about a medical student called Sean who is working at a hospital and is diagnosed with a particular form of cancer. After some investigation he finds out that he got the disease because of the hospital and some particular people in the hospital were responsible for it. Later the hospital raises funds and cures his disease. But the cure was done after a lot of problems and issues in the hospital. The novel basically deals with these issues and the politics that revolve around this fund-raising.

The book has got no connection to the movie "the terminal" directed by Stephen Spielberg in the year 2004.
