Just because an animal sniffs his feces does not mean something is wrong. Chances are, he HAS done this without you noticing before. He is a dog, that's just what dogs do. The only thing you have to be concerned about is if you see any kind of worms in it. Long spaghetti-like worms are roundworms and short little grains of rice worms are tapeworms. Also, if his feces are really runny or too hard then there might be a small issue. But if there are no other signs besides him sniffing it then relax, that's just a dog being a dog.

10 yr old male boxer; 65 - 70 lbs.; 22" from withers (couple lbs over weight); active

After walks recently he drips urine (after bowel moement and for an hour after we arrive home.

Could this be due to age, infection, allergy, excitement???
