    My Dog Is 84 And Has Diarrhea And Been Vomiting. I Want To Take Her In But I'd Like To Know An Approximate Cost. Also About How Much Is It To Put Her Down?

    I am new to Blurtit and I care about my dog so much. She hasn't been in for a check-up in several years. I believe she is blind and losing her hearing. I am worried about her and my parents only seem to make a big deal when she makes messes. I don't want to lose her but I don't want to see her struggle either.

    Euthanasia is always a tough decision to make, but sometimes it's the best and most loving decision. You don't want your dog to suffer, and it sounds like she is. I can't answer your questions about how much everything will cost because each vet is different. So you will just have to call your vet and ask them. I can tell you that if you want to cremate then it will cost more than if you just take her home to bury. But this is your decision, so maybe take her to the vet to get their opinion and other options if you are not ready to put her down.
