It was launched again with more devastating features in 1999; it started its work as a web portal in that year. And then in October 2003, the company itself was appropriated by Yahoo. In 2004, shortly after this acquisition the AltaVista search engine began using the database of yahoo and now at the moment this engine is still taking steps to make the database smarter.
