I think the ones without the extra padding are called prefolded birdseye cloth diapers (I do not know why) and they carry them at Walmart. They used to carry them at Target too but I don't know if they still do. www.walmart.com here is a link to them at walmart.com

Thanks, but after searching so much I've found out the "birdseye" is really gauze looking & the gauze is more cotton looking !
Really? Oh, now that I think about it, you are right. I always used the prefolded ones as burp cloths with my kids. And I only used cloth diapers instead of disposables on one of them. And I remember having a hard time finding the cloth diapers I wanted--without all the padding in it.
