    Had A Vaginal Total Hysterectomy, Fixed Bladder And Rectum In Jan. 2008 Have Watery Bloody Discharge Every Day. Any Suggestion?

    After vaginal total hysterectomy, bladder and rectum was also fixed in Jan.2008 I have water bloody discharge every day. After intercourse or more activities bleeding is even worse. My obgyn took me off my hormone replacement and I have to take for the next 10 days antibiotics. 3 weeks ago I had some silver nitrate treatment done for some granulation tissue in back of vaginal cuff

    The removal of ovaries, fallopian tubes complete uterus and cervix is called total hysterectomy. It takes 4-6 weeks to get recover completely after surgery. But secretion of bloody discharge is not good sign. It means the wound is not completely healed especially at cervix. I advise you to go for ultrasound and take antibiotics to avoid infection.

    My doctor was saying after examination, that I'm totally healed, do you think through the ultrasound you can find out actually where the bleeding is coming from?
    My doc is saying if I'm still have that kind of discharge he will do a CO2 laser ablation, but I don't know, if this gonna help me
