What Is The Best Route To Wokingham?

Answer Question

2 Answers - Sort by: Date | Rating

Wokingham is located in the Thames Valley area. Once you are here, you can visit the District Office that will give you maps that'll help you make your way around.

Once can get to Wokingham by taking a train from places such as Gatwick Airport, Reading, Bracknell, Winnersh, Guildford, Earley, London Waterloo and Crowthorne. These rail services are operated by the South West Trains and the First Great Western Link. If you wish to get here by bus, there are regular bus services (about 2 to 4 buses and hour) from Reading to Bracknell. These go via Earley, Winnersh and also Wokingham. One can also catch buses from Windsor, Slough, Camberley, Twyford, Ascot, Barkham, Hurst, California Cross, Shinfield, Arborfield, and Swallowfield that lead here. If you are the more adventurous types, there are also provisions for cycle routes from Woosehill and Earley. By car, one can reach Wokingham from the M3 and M4 freeways.

It really depends on where you are coming from and how you wish to travel, or what means of travel you intend to use.
