I've Got Cellulite. Can I Get Rid Of It Using Aromatherapy?

Answer Question

Good question – let's just say aromatherapy can help, repeat, help get rid of it, but there's a lot of other things to take into consideration as well.

There's diet, for a start – processed and refined foods won't help, and neither does too much salt, sugar or fat.  And that's especially true if you're not taking in enough fresh fruit and vegetables and other high-fibre foods.

Tea, coffee and alcohol in excess can build up toxins inside you, which can lead to cellulite as well.

And there's also that thorny question of exercise – are you taking enough?  Are you taking any at all?

However, that's a lifestyle question, so let's get back to the issue of cellulite.  Here's a massage oil to use daily on the affected areas which, combined with the suggestions above, can go some way to helping you get rid of cellulite:

    10 drops Lavender
    17 drops Rosemary
    12 drops Fennel
    11 drops Juniper

Mix the essential oils with 100ml cold-pressed vegetable, nut or seed oil to make up a massage lotion for use on a regular basis, and store it in the fridge, in a small glass bottle.

What stazz says may -help-. But women need to realise that there isn't much to do against cellulite. It's normal. It's there. Accept it.
