I uploaded a jpeg image for my new avatar but it didn't change it, I saved and it is under 2 MB so what is the deal? If it worked this is the pic I wanted to use...ain't she cute?

I don't find any reason if you upload a JPG picture under 2MB size on blurtit and it fails. You might have performed wrong steps. Like your picture is not actual jpg picture or it's size is greater than 2MB.
Still if you are sure about everything then there can be a technical problem at the server side on blurtit. You can contact the staff by registering your complain. Go to 'contact us' page to register your complain and you will definitely get the answer of your problem.

I think I know what happened. After you upload the picture and it shows up in the box on the "edit my account page" don't press save. Just go back to your home page and it should be there. What happens is, after you upload the picture, the picture of the random girl that WAS your avatar is still checked off and if you press save it will go back to that random girl. This may not make sense but just try what I said and I think it will work.
