What Does The Trachea Do?

    Trachea is basically a tube that commences at the Larynx and divides into primary Bronchi, allowing air passage to the lungs.

    Since it is lined with Pseudostratified Ciliated Columnar Epithelium cells that produce mucus. This lining helps in trapping inhaled foreign objects. It also manages the air flow in the body.
