Is My Landlord Required To Pay Relocating Cost If I Am Asked To Move Temp Due To Reconstruction Of Home.I Am Renting And What If He Decides To Sell Rather Than Let Me Move Back In?

My dishwasher caught on fire and sooted house, lanlord asked me to move my things to storage so restoration work could be done. I have a 13yr old daughter who lives with me. The lanlord said I would have to find some place to stay for 3wks while work was being done, I cant afford to just rent another place or stay at a hotel, even if he doesn't charge me rent for that time. Now afdter the 3weeks he said it will be another 4wks and he would be raising my rent when I moved back in. HELP
