    Glamour means the traits or qualities that give happiness or pleasure to the senses. The unusual connotation of the expression glamour was the act of transmitting a spell over somebody. The contemporary connotation of the word speaks about to charm, personality, prettiness or sexual magnetism. A person, or their standard of living, can be portrayed as glamorous. In Christopher Priest's fancy novel, The Glamour, the inherent capability to turn one's self unseen is to have power over the glamour.

    In his book It, Stephen King uses the Scots expression glamour in orientation to the being known as It or Pennywise, maxim that it means a being able to both truly change its shape and physical form at self-control, or be seen as diverse effects by unusual people.

    This , i think is the best definition of glamour i have come across.
