How Old Is Dominic Purcell?

Dominic Purcell was born on the 17th of February 1970, which currently makes him 36 years of  age.

He was born in Merseyside, England but his parents emigrated with him and his four siblings to Sydney, Australia when he was only two years of age. Dominic is of Irish, Norwegian and Irish descent.

Purcell grew up in Australia and attended the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts, which he graduated from in 1996.

At the age of 30, Purcell won the American green card lottery and decided to move to America to concentrate on pursuing a successful acting career. His break in America came in 2002 when he was cast as the part of John Doe in the TV series of the same name.

He later spent some time acting in theatre productions such as 'Romeo and Juliet', 'Antony and Cleopatra' and 'Pillars of Society' before being cast as the character of death-row inmate Lincoln Burrows in hit television drama 'Prison Break' which is currently in it's second season.
