Where Is Area Code 513?

Area code number 513 serves the south-western part of the state of Ohio in the United States of America. It includes the city of Cincinnati and its suburbs and the cities of Hamilton, Middletown, Lebanon, Trenton and Oxford.

In the earlier years, area code number 513 covered a larger part of south-western Ohio, but it has now been split into area code number 937. A new area code, that is area code number 283, now overlays the current area code number 513, but there is a delay in the implementation in the new code as the latter has not yet been depleted of many of its existing numbers.

In fact, the area code number 513, has given rise to the term The 513, which is often used by the local residents of Cincinnati to refer to their hometown and its neighbouring areas, which include Price Hill, Over-the-Rhine, West End, Norwood, Clifton, Avondale, Westwood, Kenwood, Madeira, Silverton, Pleasant Ridge, Walnut Hills, etc.
